Q. Is it possible to write on handmade paper?
Yes,
it is possible to write on most varieties except some silk and rough
textured paper. A well sized handmade paper does not blot even when
you write with a fountain pen.

Do the flower petals and grass inclusions fade over a period of
time?
If stored in damp, humid conditions fading may occur after a period
of two to three years.

Is handmade paper long-lasting?
Handmade paper is twice the strength of mill made paper and lasts
much longer because of its inherent strength due to dispersed Cotton
fibres.

Is handmade paper available in smooth textures comparable to mill
made papers?
Yes, handmade papers are available with smoothness comparable to
mill made papers. They are also available in many more textures
and styles than mill made paper is.

Can handmade paper be used in office equipment/offset printing?
Only plain surface handmade paper is recommended for offset printing
and for use in fax machines, laser printers and/or photocopying
machines.

Is handmade paper acid free?
Handmade paper by process is acid free but a few colors/embellishments
and exposure to sun for drying or the sizing may make its pH slightly
acidic.

Is handmade paper environment friendly?
Yes it is. Handmade paper is made from recycling of cotton rags
or by processing plants. The manufacturing process for all our papers
is nature based / pollution free and the final product fully bio-degradable
or recyclable.
