If
I am attracted to someone of the same sex, I again either rush to
hide it, deny it or participate in complex games to manage my needs.
Greed, lust, jealousy, manipulation, anger, hate and endless other
words buzz interminably in what we consider our 'dark side'.
The
key illness we all suffer, is simply symptomatic of many of the
above feelings and experiences. It's called fear. Articulated as
: am I good enough, will I make it, will people love me, am
I special, why does life seem like such a crop of lemons.
It leads to insecurities, guilt and worse of all low self-esteem.
Inferiority complexes lie just below the surface of our bravado
and the general feeling is pain, restlessness, lack of joy and confidence.
Healing
yourself means complete freedom from fear. It is not only possible
it is the only way man / woman was supposed to be. But to
get there, you must believe and desire your potential to heal.
And then you must accept that there is nothing inherently evil/
dark/irredeemable in you. Every feeling/emotion/characteristic has
a root. That root will lie deep down in childhood. Searching the
root, understanding the fear of the pain you suffered, is the way
to free yourself of it forever. IT IS THE ONLY WAY.
This
