IFSHA (Interventions For Support Healing and Awareness) is a Healing Center where a group of men and women offer a range of services to people seeking support after violent, traumatic experiences. We offer innovative, therapeutic, and sensitive support inroads into experiences which straddle childhood, pain, love, relationships, marriage, adolescence, sexuality, and the entire gamut of femaleness. Our healing techniques address physical, emotional, sexual and psychological traumas. IFSHA uses a self-healing philosophy to help the individual discover and source the infinite strength and unique power source within us all. Using ancient and modern spiritual tools and wisdom we sensitize individuals to the awesome energy potential that connects them to the cosmic energy center.

Our programmes provide individual as well as group services, in-house and through external institutions. Children are a central concern, and we offer individual services and school programmes for addressing the issues of young adults and teenagers. Multi-site and multi-variable research projects have helped craft our knowledge and perspectives in a range of social, psychological and emotional aspects of human behaviour as has our long history of working with people.

Our expertise covers gender, sexuality, violence against women and children, child sexual abuse, feminist research, counselling and legal therapy, and the overall empowerment of women, men and children.

We offer programmes on stress management and "burn-out", awareness and sensitisation packages on gender, violence, law, reproductive health, sexuality, and creative healing.

IFSHA is an NGO (non-government organisation) whose financial support comes from grants, donations and fees for select services.
